For the past 16 years Mediatech has been a gathering place for young people to explore technology on the second floor of the Flemington Free Public Library. At their February 23 2021 meeting, the Mediatech Board of Directors decided, with regret, to officially dissolve the organization. I know this was a difficult decision and I want to express my gratitude for the time, energy, and passion that the board has invested in the organization to the benefit of the community
On behalf of the library, I also want to express our gratitudeto the founder and long-time director of Mediatech, Warren Buckleitner. Throughout its history, the organization was inspired by his vision and his energy.
Thanks also for the contributions of the Large Foundation, Anne Thomas, Ed Kurowicki, and the stairstep donors, as well as the significant support of Mike Sozansky, Ellen Wolock, and Bill and Carol Wachter. The late Lou Hosta was a great friend of the organization,
Finally, thanks to all the members of the wider community, young and old, who gave life and energy to Mediatech over the years, and who made of Mediatech a special place, full of both dreams and memories.
