Jorge A Sánchez was born in Mexico City in 1973 and studied Communications at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He worked as a reporter and photojournalist in various print media in Mexico City. In 2005, he began working in the field of educational communication, particularly on issues of environmental education in rural and indigenous communities in the Mexican states of Oaxaca, Puebla, Tamaulipas and San Luis Potosi, in civic organizations as well as for the federal government. He currently lives in Frenchtown, NJ, developing personal projects of photography and plastic arts, among others.
