ANNUAL MEETING
Flemington Free Public Library Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes
January 17, 2025
The annual Flemington Free Public Library (FFPL) Board of Trustees Zoom meeting was called to order at 9:32 am by Board President Jane DeHaven.
In attendance by Zoom was Warren Buckleitner, Liz Fisher, Adrianne Fusaro, Grace Chang- Fuoti, Steve Rogow, James Rossetti and Library Director Errol Logan.
MEETING NOTICE STATEMENT
This meeting was called in accordance with the provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act. Notice was sent to the newspapers of record, The Courier News and The Hunterdon Democrat, and posted on the library’s website and bulletin board.
REVIEW OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
The minutes of the last annual meeting were already reviewed and approved in our regular December board meeting.
APPROVAL OF STAFF
The following staff positions were presented to the board for 2025.
Library Director: Errol Logan
Children’s Programming: Keri Rogerson
Technical Services: Jorge Sanchez
Library Assistants:
Sean Cumberbatch, Heidi Hesch, Tim Hesch, Molly Prower, Kristen Rainey, Lynn Sheard
A roll call vote was taken. The results to accept was a unanimous yes.
BOARD ASSIGNMENTS
The following board assignments were presented for 2025:
Board President: Jane DeHaven
Vice President: Stephen Rogow
Treasurer: Liz Fisher
Secretary: Warren Buckleitner
Members-at-Large: Jim Rosetti and Grace Chang-Fuoti
Superintendent of Schools: Kari McGann
Borough Council Liaison: Adrienne Fusaro
A roll call vote was taken. The results to accept was a unanimous yes.
RECIPROCAL BORROWING
Reciprocal borrowing with the Hunterdon County Library was discussed and approved. A roll call vote was taken. The results to accept was a unanimous yes.
AUDITOR
We decided to postpone the vote on the auditor until the February meeting.
NEWSPAPER OF RECORD
We were told that the Hunterdon County Democrat will stop publishing this year, and there was some discussion about the changing newspaper landscape. We decided that for now, we will reappoint the Hunterdon County Democrat and the Courier News as our two primary newspapers of record.
A roll call vote was taken. The results to accept was a unanimous yes.
PRESIDENT REPORT
“It’s been a year” said FFPL President Jane DeHaven, who thanked outgoing Director Shawn Armington for his service during the staff transitions, and incoming Director Errol Logan for taking the ball and running with it on several fronts, especially regarding the basement remediation.
MEETING CALENDAR FOR 2025/26
The trustees will continue to meet on third Friday mornings for next year, as follows:
