Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes
January 20, 2023
The Flemington Free Public Library (FFPL) Board of Trustees Zoom meeting was called to order at 9:31 am by Board President Jane DeHaven. Library Director Shawn Armington, Liz Fisher, Grace Fuoti, James Rossetti, Steve Rogow and Warren Buckleitner were present.
OPMA STATEMENT
This meeting is being held in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act and proper notification was posted on the library website.
REVIEW OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
The minutes of the last meeting were reviewed and a few minor grammatical mistakes were noted and corrected. Jane moved to accept, and Steve seconded.
TREASURERS REPORT
The treasurers report was reviewed by Liz. Liz thanked Grace for covering for her last fall during her medical leave. Jane moved to accept, Grace seconded.
BASEMENT RENOVATIONS
The library will be closed for a week during asbestos abatement.
LIBRARY DIRECTORS REPORT
The library board will allow the reproduction of some of the Kurt Wiess art.
Jane approved, and Liz seconded.

ANNUAL MEETING
January 20, 2023
The Flemington Free Public Library (FFPL) Board of Trustees Annual Zoom meeting was called to order at 9:53 am by Board President Jane DeHaven. Library Director Shawn Armington, Liz Fisher, Grace Fuoti, James Rossetti, Steve Rogow and Warren Buckleitner were present.
OPMA STATEMENT
This meeting is being held in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act and proper notification was posted on the library website.
The prior annual meeting minutes were approved. Liz moved to approve, Steve seconded.
Jane moved to approve the staff appointments, Liz seconded.
Liz moved to continue the newspapers of record, The Hunterdon Democrat and the Courier News. Grace seconded.
The same auditor will be used, Suplee Clooney. Jane moved to approve, Jim seconded.
The reciprocal borrowing agreement with Hunterdon County Library was reaffirmed. Liz made the motion, Grace seconded.
The Board will have its regular meetings for 2023 at 9:30 a.m. on the following dates:
February 17
March 17
April 21
May 19
(June 16 if necessary)
September 15
October 20
December 15
January 19, 2024
The meeting was adjourned at 10:09.
