The Flemington Free Public Library (FFPL) Board of Trustees Zoom meeting was called to order at 9:32 am by Steve Rogow (acting for Jane DeHaven). Jim Rossetti, Kari McGann, Grace Fuoti, and Warren Buckleitner were present; along with Library Director Shawn Armington,

OPMA STATEMENT  

This meeting was called in accordance with the provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act. Notice was sent to the newspapers of record, The Courier News and The Hunterdon Democrat, and posted on the library’s website and bulletin board.

REVIEW OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES

The previous meeting minutes were reviewed and there were no changes. Steve moved to accept; and Jim seconded.

TREASURERS REPORT

The treasurer’s report was reviewed by Shawn.

Grace moved to accept and Jim seconded. 

CONTINUING BUSINESS

Basement remediation – Shawn reported that the bid for the basement will go out “within a few weeks.”

Shawn is checking on the light in the parking lot.

The torchière lights from the front of the library have been removed and are being repaired.

Kari McGann reported that the district’s child population has been growing; and that $1.22 million dollars has been provided to the FRSD to cover free preschool. Approximately 400 borough preschoolers will be eligible. Warren suggested that the library can help to promote this new service; Shawn will help to disseminate information through Storytime.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:02 am.

The next meeting will be December 15 at 9:30 am
